Shay has more than twenty years in financial services and business operations and seven years of consulting experience. Over the years she has focused on all aspects of emerging risk management, change management, process improvement, and risk mitigation.
Shay has distinguished herself as a highly knowledgeable risk management consultant and executive officer in regulatory compliance within commercial real estate, private equity funds and asset management. Prior to her work in consulting, Shay’s experience included assisting in developing quantitative risk models and evaluating risks from a portfolio perspective, as well as assisting in implementing technical solutions that provided risk data collection and reporting functionality. She has delivered on reviews of risk management processes and provided guidance on keeping emerging risk management a top priority within organizations.
Shay holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration; and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Saint Mary’s College of California. She is certified in Project and Financial Management from Cornell University; and Risk Management through Stanford University. She holds a lifelong commitment toward building diversity and inclusion initiative programs and paying forward to educational and career success program opportunities for young adults as a mentor in the San Francisco Bay Area.
