Sharon Wamble-King's core capabilities include strategic planning, change management, leadership and organizational development, corporate communications and diversity and inclusion. Wamble-King’s career spans more than three decades serving in leadership positions in healthcare and management consulting. Sharon has held executive leadership positions for Kaiser Permanente, Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, and has both clinical and administrative experience. Sharon was the lead consultant for the redesign of the healthcare system for Santa Clara County, CA. Other clients have included Nexyst, Wellspring Health and Sports Performance, City Year, and the Florida Blue Foundation. Prior to founding her own consultancy, Sharon was the change communications practice leader at Arthur Andersen, LLP, and was a business consultant at William M. Mercer.
Sharon is also active in community and professional organizations. She is a member of the Arthur Page Society, Women Corporate Directors, serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for the University of North Florida, Trustee for the Florida State College Jacksonville Foundation and has served as a Trustee for Florida Memorial University, an HBCU in Miami Gardens, Florida, and as Board Chair for the Bay Area Center for Arts and Technology. A Leadership Florida alum, Sharon is Prosci Change Management and John Maxwell certified and is pursuing a doctoral degree in change and leadership from Antioch University.
