Mark Small has extensive experience as a global sales and operations executive with leading technology, software, cybersecurity, and SaaS companies including Oracle, McAfee and Proofpoint, as well as early-stage and emerging companies. Mark was most recently Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Cofense where he was responsible for global sales, pre-sales, customer success, sales enablement, sales operations, and channel partners.  Mark was recently recognized for his achievements by The Software Report with a Top 25 Sales Executives of 2021 Award.

Prior to Cofense, Mark ran the worldwide sales and technical teams for Proofpoint’s Digital Risk business. Mark also held VP/SVP and company officer roles at Websense and McAfee where he helped define and implement go-to-market and product strategy, including acquisitions and divestitures, while leading a myriad of customer-facing organizations including direct sales, channel, customer experience and professional services. In his work with start-ups and emerging companies, Mark also held a variety of leadership positions including EVP, Global Sales at Spirion, VP of Sales for TopOPPS and VP of Sales for Code Green Networks. Mark currently serves as an Advisory Board Member for IntelleXt, a start-up whose platform leverages an AI engine to optimize business, legal and contract negotiations.
