Laura Leber has been leading corporate communications and building high-performing communications teams in the biotechnology, diagnostics, and pharmaceutical space for 30 years.
Laura served as Chief Communications Officer and Senior Vice President for Genomic Health from its founding through its development as the leading genomic-based diagnostics company. Her team managed a broad responsibility, including all corporate and employee communications, digital marketing, patient advocacy, investor relations, and international communications.
Prior to that, Laura was Vice President of Corporate Communications at Genentech, leading the biotech pioneer’s global communications, product and employee communications, and patient advocacy during a transformational period in the industry. Laura also held leadership positions at Searle pharmaceuticals in Chicago and at public relations agencies Fleishman-Hillard in St. Louis and Hill & Knowlton in NYC. Laura has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
