Judith S. Hurwitz is president and CEO of Hurwitz & Associates, Inc., a consulting, strategy, and research firm focused on emerging technology including machine learning and AI, advanced data analytics, hybrid cloud computing, and security. She consults with major software leaders and emerging companies on strategy and market positioning. Hurwitz is a thought leader, technology strategist, speaker, and author. She is the co-author of eight books, including Cognitive Computing and Big Data Analytics (Wiley 2015), Big Data for Dummies (Wiley 2013) and Hybrid Cloud for Dummies (Wiley 2014). In 2011, Judith authored Smart or Lucky? How Technology Leaders Turn Chance into Success (Jossey Bass, 2011).
Judith provides strategy, planning, and thought leadership to companies make the transition to a new business model focused on the business value of emerging platforms. Judith holds a BS and MS degrees from Boston University. She is a member of Boston University’s College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Advisory board and a board member of the Boston University Alumni Council.
