Gary Geipel works with companies and nonprofit organizations to demystify the workings of thought leadership, develop core messages and positioning strategies, design effective plans to influence public perceptions and policy outcomes, and implement at the highest level. Gary is a deeply experienced writer and policy analyst who partners with leaders to produce exceptional articles, speeches, and other materials tailored to their audiences and goals.
His consultancy, REVIDEAS stands for realizing the value of ideas, as does Gary. He helps clients to seize their opportunities and overcome their challenges in live, digital, media, and public-policy arenas. Prior to REVIDEAS, Gary divided his long professional career between public policy think tanks and the corporate sector. He was a scholar and operations executive for the Hudson Institute and remains a senior associate of the National Institute for Public Policy in Washington. In the biopharmaceuticals industry, he served as principal speechwriter to CEOs of Eli Lilly and Company and led the firm’s external engagement in Germany and then worldwide for its oncology business.
Later he took on corporate communications leadership roles at a young biotechnology company focused on rare diseases and in the U.S. diagnostics hub of a global healthcare conglomerate.
Beyond REVIDEAS, Gary now teaches writing and international relations in Missouri State University’s highly regarded Department of Defense and Strategic Studies and continues his own research and publication work in diverse forums. He holds a doctorate in international relations and an undergraduate degree in journalism.
