Amy has received multiple awards for her public affairs leadership, including being named "40 Under 40" by PR Week magazine and winning the Public Affairs Council Innovation award.
Amy was Vice President for Digital at Business Roundtable, responsible for the strategy and execution of digital, web and social media engagement for the association of chief executive officers of leading U.S. corporations. Additionally, she focused on transformation so that BRT could compete and win in a crowded market place. She spent 15 years at Eli Lilly and Company where she pioneered digital engagement by launching a digital government affairs team, advancing public affairs and communications around the world, and leading social media and digital communications across the enterprise. During this time, she led teams that positioned Lilly as a thought leader in key policy debates, designed a new partnership strategy to address reputational and policy-based issues, redesigned the company’s website and digital presence, modernized the communications approach, integrated active intelligence to quick engage and respond to trends, initiated an employee advocacy and activation program, launched an executive engagement program, and bolstered the digital and social capabilities of the company and third parties by sharing key insights and developing integrated campaigns.
Amy is a graduate of University of Notre Dame and Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy.
She resides in Washington, D.C. with her husband and three dogs.
